Building a culture of creativity

Whilst facilitating a company culture away day for a client earlier this year, it became apparent that most employees were not ‘used’ to doing creative activities.

I asked why not, and

. Provide Time and Space for Creativity

  • Dedicated Creative Time: Allow employees to spend a portion of their workweek on creative projects or exploring new ideas.

  • Creative Workspaces: Designate areas in the office where employees can work on creative projects, equipped with resources like whiteboards, art supplies, and comfortable seating.

4. Offer Training and Development

  • Skill Building: Provide workshops and training sessions focused on creative thinking, problem-solving, and innovation.

  • Cross-Training: Encourage employees to learn about different roles and departments to foster diverse thinking and collaboration.
